The Knight is the standard Heavy Cavalry of the Medieval Age, available to upgrade from the Cataphract as soon as the age is reached. Like all cavalry of the age, it is trained and upgraded at the Stable.
After Cataphracts become Knights, they gain +25 hit points, +1 attack strength, +1 line of sight, +1 moves, meaning they move about 0.1 tiles per second faster, and also attack faster, having -5 attack recharge rate, which translates to about 0.3 seconds less delay between strikes, further increasing the total damage they can inflict over time. Knights will soundly beat up most units, except for Heavy Infantry, and if enough of them can defeat any force, as long as they are properly supported, because powerful as they are, they will still need some cover fire against Heavy Infantry, support for taking down buildings, and maybe some assistance against evasive Ranged Cavalry if present.
Unit Costs Edit
Unit production cost increases progressively with every Stable unit on the field or currently in production. The default increase is of 1 Wealth and 1 Metal for the second unit created, increasing further with every new unit until the cost cap is reached, which for military units is of +125% their original base value. It's important to note, however, that these prices are the default standard, and actual production and upgrading costs may differ, depending on researched technologies/ages, connected rare resources, or adopted governments.
Unique Units Edit
