This article is about the Modern Age unit. For general information on infantry units, see Infantry. |
The Infantry is the standard Modern Infantry of the Modern Age, available to upgrade from Riflemen and are trained at the Barracks.
Overview[]
When Riflemen become Infantry, they gain +5 hit points, +2 attack strength, +1 armor, +1 attack range, +5 movement speed, and +1 line of sight.
Following the previous units of the unit line, Infantry is effective in fighting Heavy Infantry, Artillery Weapons and Support Units. When used in quantity, they can be effective against light-amored vehicles and civilian structures as well. However, they are weak versus Tanks, Machine Guns and garrisoned fortifications like Towers and Forts. They can move fairly fast and can inflict continuous damage on enemies.
Like most modern infantry, Infantry has a small chance to counterattack aircraft.
