- Flamethrowers are excellent to forcefully kick garrisoned units out of buildings. This both reduces the buildings garrison power (attack strength) and makes the garrisoned units vulnerable.
- Very effective aganist entrenchments, especially when you are the one who is leading an invasion.
- Short range
- Weak against Infantry
- It is best to keep Flamethrowers behind an army until they can be useful.
- These units are best in attacking stationary units (that are in entrenchments) and buildings.
