The Eagle Fighter is modeled after the A-10 Thunderbolt II 'Warthog' by US manufacturer Fairchild Republic. The aircraft was introduced in 1977 and used in a lot of operations in the Middle East during the 1990s and 2000s. Despite being a unique unit in the game, it has the same stats as a regular Jet Fighter. It does have several additional damage bonuses compared with the regular Jet Fighter.
