Cruise Missile
The Cruise Missile is the conventional missile of the Information Age Information Age, available to upgrade from the V2 Rocket once Military Military 7 (Selective Service) is researched and are built at the Missile Silo.


When V2 Rockets become Cruise Missiles, they gain +300 attack strength and increased operational range.

The Cruise Missile plays an identical role as the V2 Rocket, though it has considerably greater range and power. It is rare for this unit to play any significant role, if at all, in the information age, as ICBMs will be the core of missile exchange at this point ingame, taking the most space in the player's Missile Silos, and generally, most players will develop the missile shield even before the armageddon clock has been reduced to 1.

If the Armageddon Clock hits 1 and the Missile Shield are still to be developed or if nukes have been deactivated, then Cruise Missiles may take the stage and play its predecessor's role of leveling buildings, and its arguably the best unit at such task, eliminating other player's advantages with a large swarm of Cruise Missiles. Wonders, especially Super Collider and Space Program, should be the top priority if they havent been destroyed already.
