Unit Information Game Strategies History

The Cruise Missile plays an identical role as the V2 Rocket, though it has considerably greater range and power.

It is rare for this unit to play any significant role, if at all, in the information age, as ICBMs will be the core of ballistic missile exchange at this point ingame, taking the most space in the player's missile silos, and generally, most players will develop the missile shield even before the armageddon clock has been reduced to 1.

If the armageddon clock hits 1 and missile shields are still to be developed or if nukes have been deactivated, then cruise missiles may take the stage and play its predecessor's role of wonder leveler, and its arguably the best unit at such task, eliminating other player's advantages with a large swarm of cruise missiles. Information age wonders should be the top priority if they havent been destroyed already.
