In the Rise of Nations campaigns, armies are the means of executing military operations and expanding the nation's domain. Direct maneuvers against the enemy are dictated by the movement of armies, which can only move one territory at a time, except in The Cold War, where they can move freely as long as it's a friendly territory. In all campaigns, every nation possesses a starting army, and each controlled territory with a Supply Center grants an additional army.
