Mobile Anti-Aircraft (AA) is a class of modern units used to combat enemy aircraft such as bombers and fighter planes, available at the Factory in the 
Industrial Age, along with the first fighter planes, requiring both 
Food and 
Wealth.
Anti-Aircraft units are the mobile variant of the stationary Air Defenses, which are an upgrade of the earlier Lookouts and Observation Posts. While the latter ones are more effective in defending cities, outposts and wonders, Anti-Aircraft units are supposed to accompany armies and protect them from enemy air raids. Depending on enemy air power, try to bring at least 3-5 AA units with an attacking army, otherwise you might lose important units such as Generals, Supply Wagons and Artillery Weapons to enemy air raids.
Special Forces and Elite Special Forces have the ability to automatically jam the weapons of nearby Anti-Aircraft units.

Unit costs
Anti-Aircraft units' production cost increases progressively with every Factory unit on the field or currently in production. The default increase is 20 Food and 20 Wealth for the second unit created, increasing further with every new unit until the cost cap is reached, which for military units is +125% of their original base value.
Nation powers
- The American Power of Innovation: Anti-Aircraft unit upgrades are 25% cheaper.
- The Bantu Power of Migration: Anti-Aircraft units do not require
Military research to be upgraded. - The British Power of Empire: Anti-Aircraft units and buildings are 25% cheaper and built 33% faster.
- The French Power of Leadership: Factory units, including Anti-Aircraft units, are created 15% cheaper and 25% faster, and move 20% faster.
- The Iroquois Power of Nation: Anti-Aircraft units are hidden when not attacking and heal while idle in friendly territory.
Wonders
- The Statue of Liberty makes Anti-Aircraft units upgraded for free.
